Hi All,
Happy New Year 2012!
2011 has been a great year for Almonde Studio. This post is about our last wedding session of the year (2011). We have an amazing wedding to share. A few weeks ago, on Saturday we shot our final wedding of the year. And if there’s one thing that I kept thinking, it’s how wonderfully Alfonso and Wewoen summed up our year. Beautiful people, a fantastic wedding and lots of great emotions. read more
Mumbai (मुंबई) is the largest city in India. One of the world most populous city to date and will be the world most populous city by 2020. I was there from 12 Dec to 16 Dec this month for some reasons. It is more on work (business) trip. Nevertheless, I still have some of my time to walk around some part of the city, Bandra. Sadly, I have to say that I missed out Churchgate. Yes, I knew it is a must-visit area in Mumbai but I did not have enough time to be there as I was staying quite far away at Goregaon. Traffic jam was really bad after office hours. It could easily took me hours to reach there. read more
Duncan and Nia contacted me a few months back. We arranged a fast dinner in one of the shopping malls nearby Jurong area, Jurong Point. With some of my portfolios in my hand, I met them in the noodle restaurant. We had a great dinner and good laugh and everything went just as it should be. Duncan told me that he was settled in Canada and throughout the wedding preparation, Nia will be the one whom I could contact should I need any help! A really great couple with so much love in their eyes since the first time I met them. I am really glad to trusted to cover one of the biggest days in their life. read more
Hi All,
Andrew here. I am finally back again with my long overdue post. Last year, during the World Expo 2010, I decided to fly to Shanghai (上海) to grasp and breath the “awesome” Jiang Nan air. I have never been to China before (Hong Kong is not China, right?) Before I flew, I have a lot of concerns, and the worst part is regarding the safety issue in China. Finally I decided to travel light so I packed my old yet trusty Canon EOS 5D classic and Canon EF 17-40mm F/4L Lens with a tripod and some batteries and a lot of CF cards. read more

Almonde Studio crews went to Joe McNally Seminar – Let There Be Light – last month. It was truly an eye-opener for the two of us. Great lighting techniques from a lighting guru were definitely worth all the sweat and blood we have put into this seminar. read more

I was invited to capture all the hips and hops in the Mettle Games 2010 Opening party. I expected it to be that kind of party with lotsa babes and hunks and it turn out to be one. This dinner was held on the 19th of November 2010. It was an event by the Children’s Aid Society (CAS) to raise funds for Melrose Home and to thank some of the donators. I was asked to cover the event and once I knew that its a charity event, I said yes without any further consideration. read more
